A couple of months ago I thought that I would take my dad to Martin's Cove in Wyoming for Father's day. He had never been there. My brother, Kim, came along. It turned out to be a good time and it will be a great memory.

We stopped at South Pass City in Wyoming just south of Lander. It's an old western gold mining town. It was only about 37 degrees that day.

Me with my dad and Kim with Martin's Cove in the background.

I thought that this was a great picture of Dad taken at the Sun Ranch near Martin's cove. Kim stepped into the picture just as I snapped it. Way to go Kim.
There was a youth group at Martin's cove and we were able to see them do a reinactment of the crossing of the sweetwater river.

Ron is in Alaska so I decided I would take my "almost" ninety-year old dad to Martin's Cove. With all of his traveling in his life I couldn't believe he had never been there.

One of the best investments we made was to buy a little electric car so Kyler could get around. It broke our hearts to see the other grandkids running throught the yard and he had to sit on the deck and watch. Kyler is a sweetheart.

We watched Maggie and Kyler a little bit while Tara was recovering from having her tonsils out.

Keeping up with Maggie is like trying to keep up with a whirlwind. She is in to everything. She pulled a little step stool out to play in the sink. She was soaking wet by the time Ron got home from school.
