Grandma Sue is still heck on wheels as evidenced by this picture she really didn't want posted but what do you think? Shouldn't this great picture be preserved for all to see? This is on the Bear Paw trail and it was a lovely morning about 70 degrees and almost no clouds. A ncie change from cool and wet for the last 6 months! We did get to go visit Grandma Tobler's and had the lady there take our picture but when we got back we found she had it on video and really didn't capture much. It was a very nice change of pace and we really enjoyed the weather!

We took a short trip to St. George to warm up and get some R&R. We left after the teacher recruiting event in Provo on Wednesday afternoon and got there Wednesday evening. Our first stop was Cafe Rio and some great salads we had been anticipating. Ron wasn't quite able to get out and vacation until early afternoon on Thursday as it is hard to ignore the emails and other things going on at the job. We did some sight seeing and some relaxing Thursday afternoon. Friday we were able to get a bike ride in and Saturday morning we hit the Bear Paw-Poppy trail for a little off road adventure. We saw a little adventure but we biked to the trailhead from the motel so it was a good bike ride!

On Saturday, March 14, we celebrated Kyler's birthday a couple of days early. He and his Mom, Maggie, and Eli came over for lunch and we had a good time. We wish Kirk could have been here but Walmart needed him! Kyler is so fun. He keeps a great attitude and is always so happy. He just couldn't quit laughing when he was blowing out the candles. He did gt them all! It is hard to believe that he is really 6 years old. We sure love him and are proud of him. when faced with the choice of adding a chocolate shake or icer cream to his birthday cake he elected to just have cake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLER!

I ama little late getting this posted but so goes it! No picture to accompany this one. Jud, Colter, and I went fishing on Jackson Lake Saturday the 1st of March. . You would think that the beginning of March would give you more likelihood of a nice day but it was -22 degrees as we walked out to the lake from the parking lot about a mile or so at least. That would have been fine but we discovered the water had come up and made it really slushy. That would have been OK but Colter and I kept breaking through and his boots were not as watertight. As cold as it was we didn't dare keep him out there not knowing how cold his feet were so Jud set me up to fish and hauled Colter back across the lake pulling him in a toboggan while Jud XCountry skied. While they were gone I had some fun fishing with a sonar fish finder Jud has. I could see my jig and then the fish looking at it and that kept things exciting. I caught 4 and Jud had caught one before he had to haul Colter back. When Jud got back (and he brought back my skis!) I went back and Colter and I headed for home leaving Jud to fish and come back with a friend who had driven up separately. Colter and I had a nice trip home stopping at Wendy's for some brunch and having a good visit. Cold but a great time.
