A Chef At Work

When Tanner and Ashlee visit they love to get lessons on cooking from the master. Their project this time was derby pies and chocolate chiffon pies. They are getting pretty good at it.

Christmas Party At Grandpa Jenkins'

Actually this was on Christmas eve and Kirk and Tara's kids had opened some gifts to each other. It was good to have them all here.
This was at Grandpa Jenkins' house and the kids had a great time seeing extended family and enjoying the season. Kyler likes his transformer!

Maggie is all girl and a doll was the perfect thing for her.
Grandpa carried on his tradition of keeping the chaos somewhat managed by clearing some of the mess in his garbage bags. The food was great and the company unequaled!

Part of the festivities with Grandpa wondering if he wants to do this again next year!

A visit from da birds

One day this November we looked out to see an amazing number of nigratory birds in our yard scavenging for anything they could find to eat.
They liked to buds on the cottonwood and the berries on the other trees. It was quite an interesting sight.

A group picture of those grandkids that were able to be with us for this holiday party. They seem to have had a good time!

As Ashlee with ITunes card and candy. What more could a girl want?

More Holiday Party Pics

Santa Kevin helping Zane with his gift.
Kyler liked the attached candy bar on his gift. He couldn't wait to get started on that part of the party.

Zane was excited to open his own gift.

Maggie really got into the spirit of enjoying Christmas early.

Holiday pics during the Thanksgiving Early Christmas Party

Zane was a big help to his sister. He wasn't really excited about what she got!

Tara, Jud, and Annie enjoying the holiday treats and visiting
during the party.

The choices for dessert were troubling to some. They just couldn't decide which one!

Maggie became attached to this decoration and enjoyed dancing with it when the music came on. The snowman didn't melt but he is wearing down.

Catching up but out of order! I had to throw this one in of Maggie trying her hand at being a witch!
More catching up to do! As part of the thanksgiving activities the kids had fun decorating cookies together although we are not sure if Maggie got more on the cookies or in her mouth.
