Some of the aftermath of the Christmas party! It was a whirlwind.

Colter is making the transition from little boy to young man. He is a handsome cuss and has a good sense of humor. He loves airplanes and video games. He is a very good fisherman. He loves Grandma's chocolate mousse balls and just about everything else she cooks. We are proud of him!

Annie is still a Pet shop collector extraordinaire. She is becoming quite a young lady and really likes to read about the wild kingdom especially bugs and insects. It was good to get her and Colter with their other cousins. She is growing too fast!

Eli is turning in to a young man and helped a lot while we were getting ready for the party. He watches out for his sister and brother and has fun with them. He likes all kinds of boy toys!

We had our Christmas party at our house on th 27th and all were here except for Todd and Aimee, Tanner, and Ashlee who spent the holidays at home in Virginia. Maggie is growing and is a real climber. She loves to be on the move and is quite a manipulator!

While Kevin and Holly were here we had the privilege of having Nora blessed in our home. Kevin's parents were here and it was nice we could do it at this time so it will save a rushed trip to Portland on winter roads. The weather was really bad so some of the brothers and sisters of Kevin and Holly were not able to make it but it was still a special occasion. Kevin did a nice job. It was good to have Kevin and Holly here during the holidays. Not only did we get to visit a lot and play games but Kevin became a master at clearing snow from the driveway. Dad Ron had some surgery on the 23rd so he was unable to do that and really appreciated Kevin covering for him! It is good to be with family and we hope that Kevin and Holly will come back even though this year the surgery and a case of the flu for Grandma Sue on Christmas Eve made things a little less that we would have hoped. WE enjoyed having them here.

We were happy to have Kevin and Holly with us for all of the holidays. It was good to get more acquainted with our Grandkids. Zane is a fun little guy who has a real penchant for deep thinking. Often you will see him deeply reflecting. We just wish we knew what he was thinking!

Our newest addition to our family is little Nora Pickup. She is such a beautiful baby as you can see. No prejudice at all on our part! It was fun to get acquainted with her and we are finagling some way to get to Portland soon so we can see her!

It seems like the holidays went by really quickly. One of the fun things that Grandma Sue was able to do was to help Kyler create his dream gingerbread house. They had a good time and Kyler was very proud of his creation!
